These Salt Pigs are made of white stoneware and are glazed in a variety of colors. As each salt pig is handmade, please expect minor variations in shape, size and color. Each salt pig comes with a 3" wooden spoon.
Every S.Marotta Pottery salt pig is handmade by Stephanie in her studio on Vashon Island, WA. Each salt pig is created to be unique and enjoyed every day. All salt pigs are one of a kind with slight variances in shape, top and opening. All pieces are glazed in a palette of beautiful colors that are sure to find a place in your home.
All salt pigs are made from either a white or dark brown stoneware. After being wheelthrown, each salt pig is fired once, glazed and fired a second time in an electric kiln to over 2100 degrees Fahrenheit. If needed, salt pigs are dishwasher safe.
